• 1 cup margarine or butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups molasses
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. ginger
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 6 cups all-purpose flour

Cream the butter or margarine with sugar. Add molasses, eggs, cinnamon, ginger, salt, baking soda and half the flour. Mix well. Add remaining flour one cup at a time until dough consistency is formed.

Cut into desired shape bake at 350 F for 10 - 15 minutes.
