- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp. each of cinnamon, cloves and salt
Combine ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well
Beat until smooth.
Pouring into two 9 X 5 pans and bake at 350F for 40 - 50 minutes. Cool 15 minutes in pan. Freezes well. Do not double this recipe. Make a fresh batch.
